A nature walk in the forests of Gerhagen.

The walk takes a wide arc around the Pinnekensweier, as there is a prohibition on entry from March 1 to August 1.

The area Gerhagen is the green lung of Tessenderlo, covering an area of 945 hectares and is part of one of the largest contiguous forest complexes in Flanders, along with the Merode forests.

The NSG Beneden-Dijle took its Tuesday walk here and discovered some special plants, insects, and birds: http://waarnemingen.be under observer NSG Beneden-Dijle on May 29, 2024.
