Routing Leisure Cycling Tour - most beautiful (only paved), Cycling - Nodes

Departure from the parking lot of the beautiful Neremsplein via the separate cycle path to Glons continuing along the Jeker to Bitsingen (Bassenge) and Boirs. After a steep climb of up to 19% to Houtain Sint Simeon. We ride on car-free roads towards Visé until the Albert Canal, cross it and then head to Eijsden (Netherlands). Here by the Meuse, it's time for a snack or a drink on one of the many terraces. After that, we take the ferry across the Meuse back to Belgium. Time for the next climb to Lanay, after which we descend and ride along the Jeker to the yacht harbor in Kanne. One last slight climb to Slingerberg until Zichen and Zussen. Continuing on gentle roads to Valmeer and the Wine Castle in Genoelselderen. Hilly to Ketsingen-Berg and then on to Tongeren, the oldest town in Belgium. Through the nature reserve the Kevie, we return to Neremsplein, where we can then enjoy a delicious meal at Bistro Anthony's Taverne or fries at Brekske or a drink on the terrace of Café Derby at Marcel.
