"You start your journey in Pliniuspark, on the edge of the city wall from the second century. At first glance, this walk lies on a ridge. In reality, it is a monumental earthen structure that was part of the aqueduct of the former Atuatuca Tungrorum. During this walk through the wooded surroundings of the Beukenberg, you will pass serene church villages such as Mulken and Piringen, large square farms, the water castle of Betho (photo), and Rooi castle. Throughout the entire loop, benches have been placed. At the end of the walk, you can satisfy your hunger at restaurant Konings, known well beyond Limburg for its mussels."
