GR 16 Poupehan - All via Frahan - Return via Rochehaut

Easy version of one of the most beautiful parts of the hike in Belgium.

The Bouillon-Vresse hike on the GR16 is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful and difficult hikes in Belgium. However, it is not in a loop. This hike here is a loop and covers the most beautiful part of Bouillon-Vresse but in an easier way.

Ample parking and cafe in Poupehan.
We climb directly above Le Ragi onto local hike #26. Warning: deviate from #2 after 2.5. 26: to the left and a little further on the GR16 to Rochehaut. Nice view over Frahan and many restaurants.

Continue on the GR to Frahan - possibility of a restaurant. Not on the Fraha n heights, but along the banks of the Semois along the old tobacco barns to Alle , where there are many restaurants.

From Alle again a steep ascent to Rochehaut and back through the Semois to Poupehan.

Optionally, the first part, from Poupehan to Alle, can be covered by canoe . In this case it's more fun to start at Alle and walk to Poupehan and then canoe back.

There is a more difficult version of this hike through the Falloises with the stairs , the Crêtes de Frahan and through Opimont. A group can be divided into 2, with the “light” group driving this route and the “heavy” the other, while the stops are the same and the groups can meet.
