In the storming of the citadel of Namur, but not only ... !

This quite sporty round trip first takes us to the heights of Wépion, before we descend into the Meuse valley, which we ride along for 2 km before starting the ascent on the Wonder road. This road, which lives up to its name, leads us to the citadel, the Vauban fortification. This road, covered with small cobblestones, gradually opens up a magnificent view of the valley. From the esplanade, we cross the La Vecquée forest before exploring some alleys in the eastern part of Malonne.

The return via Bois-de-Villers, Lesve, Arbre, Rivière, and Lustin allows this round trip to pass through all the villages of the municipality.

It should be noted that we can avoid the ascent to Lustin if we go directly from Rivière to Profondeville. This shortcut allows us to save about 14 km.

(If you want to be satisfied with the ascent to the citadel, it is enough to follow the Meuse, climb the citadel, and either return the same way or go over the Pairelle).
