The Hageland is one of the most beautiful tourist regions in Belgium.
Especially in spring when thousands of apple and pear trees are in full bloom. Add to that a rolling landscape with wooded slopes and vast fields and meadows and you get a very nice backdrop for a bike ride.
This tour starts at the cozy Brasserie Gempemolen in Sint-Joris-Winge, a borough of Tielt-Winge, after which the trail winds its way through the quiet heart of the Hageland. You regularly get a steep climb in front of the wheels, but in the cozy village centers you will find a place to catch your breath or to simply take a break and enjoy the many goodies from the region.
