A hike past the Bettringen gem, the Ottilienkirche church, the Felixkapelle chapel and the "Weg Zum Guten Hirten" sculpture trail of the Haus Lindenhof foundation and through the beautiful Wiesental valley.
The trail leads through the most scenic parts of Bettringen. Twice, you climb from the Lower Jurassic leveling into the Keuper Valley and back again. The hard layers of rock form a striking slope edge. After the bridge over the Strümpfelbach, the massive Stubensandstein is visible on the right bank. Shortly before the Felix Chapel, you pass the Lindenfeld nature reserve. On the way back to the Wiesental valley, where the path descends steepest, the Angula sandstone can be seen on the right of the path.
