Bergisch Panorama Cycle Path - Stage Agger-Dörspe

The STAGE AGGER-DÖRSPE is part of the Bergisches Panorama Cycle Path and therefore also of the RadRegionRheinland. The well-known red and white destination signage will be adjusted shortly and will then lead along the railway line path.

The STAGE AGGER-DÖRSPE offers a special attraction to all history and railway enthusiasts. Along the way, information boards on industrial and settlement history have been set up in the two valleys since September 2016.

The history of the Dörspetal and Aggertal:
The Dörspetal and the Aggertal share an exciting industrial and settlement history. Following the realization "You only see what you know," 18 information boards have been set up along the Agger-Dörspe stage. Frank Remmel, Historical Geographer, tells the exciting development of the valleys there in word and image. He talks about companies like Krawinkel and Baldus, which wrote more than just industrial history, about the importance of the two rivers, and above all about the influences of the railway line.
