On the 'Sperlingskauz' circular trail, we hike along the historic Schwellgraben to the Reschbachklause. Both structures are part of the historic timber drifts. At the Reschbachklause, the landscape has a Scandinavian feel. A shelter and a seating area invite you to take a break. From the Reschbachklause we climb along the German-Czech border up to the Siebensteinkopf (1,263 m), from where we can enjoy the view into the Šumava National Park and, in the distance, as far as the Alps. The descent is via old, artfully walled paths made of field stones;
