CAMPING DOMAINE DE LA PALME

In the heart of the Corbières Maritimes, between sea, pond, vineyards and garrigue, Camping Domaine de La Palme offers friendly vacations in a calm, family atmosphere. Just a few minutes' drive from the long, sandy beaches of Plage du Rouet de La Palme, between Port la Nouvelle and Leucate/La Franqui. If you prefer to walk, you can park your car at the large parking lot on the Salin site and follow the "des Salines au Rouet" footpath, in complete safety, through a site criss-crossed with "partènements" (basins in which seawater collects before entering the crystallizers), specific to salt marshes. By bike, you can set off from the village of La Palme along the Chemin du lavoir to the beach, passing mills, laundries and salt marshes. Or take a shared bike path to La Franqui or Leucate. Don't have a bike? Ask the Tourist Office for advice.

INSOLITE: unusual accommodation in a peaceful setting by the lake (canvas tents, lodges, wooden cottages, comfortable mobile homes and motorhome service area). Three-star service (kite rinsing area, free WIFI Internet access throughout the campsite, communal barbecue area, late arrival service). Please take advantage of the heated pool area. For the little ones, there's a paddling pool with water games. A tranquil campsite on a human scale, ideally located not far from the pond, a favorite spot for picture hunters, where walkers, fishing enthusiasts and water sports fans (windsurfing, paddle, foil and kite-surfing) can practice their favorite sports. Camping Domaine de La Palme is a beautiful site with sunny to shady pitches, still open to tent campers, which is becoming increasingly rare.
