At the starting sign, head towards "Rue Arthur Rimbaud" in the direction of Vouziers. At the end of this street, turn right onto "Rue de la Couture" to pass near the silo. Then take the grassy path for 400m and turn right. Continue for 1.2km until you reach the village of Sainte-Vaubourg. Then climb up "Chemin du Château", pass in front of the Town Hall, and gain some height towards the church. At the church, take the path to the left (mark 9/22). Pass near the water tower and enjoy a view of the surrounding landscapes, particularly the village of Voncq. Then head to the right to exit Sainte-Vaubourg. After 550m, at the intersection, turn right again and follow the path leading to the former Roman road Reims-Trier for 500m. At the intersection, veer to your left. The Roman road leads you to the departmental road. Cross this road carefully to continue on the path straight ahead. Continue your way for 1.8km until you reach the road. At the intersection, turn left (mark 15/22) towards Rilly-sur-Aisne. In the village, at the bottom of the church, turn right and then immediately left. Pass near a children's playground and then turn left to take the Voie Verte Sud-Ardennes. Continue for 4km and then cross the canal at the lock to reach the other bank. Continue for 800m and then go up to the Attigny bridge before turning left to return to your starting point.
