Fischbach: Clubs around Fischbach

We did this beautiful walk on January 18, 2022. It consists of three loops that all start and return to Fischbach. We combined several marked routes to make the hike a bit longer. To navigate this loop, you will need a GPS track and/or a map. You can easily find it on this page.

The fact that "Fischbach" is located in the "Müllerthal" region is immediately noticeable when walking counterclockwise. Less than 700 m from the starting point, we walk among beautiful rugged rock formations. That "Fischbach" is on the edge of the region is also clearly visible in the changing landscape. Be surprised by the great variety this hike can offer.

Mullerthal.lu states the following; "The village of Fischbach is situated between the municipalities of Mersch and Larochette, on a hill between the Alzette Valley and the Ernz-Blanche Valley. Between 1820 and 1857, Fischbach was one of the industrial centers of the country due to its steel production, which was based on the extraction of ore.

Today, the municipality is mainly known for the private residence of the Grand Ducal family and for its hiking trails.
