AzureFrom the parking lot of bungalow park De Sluftervallei we walk varied over hard and soft surfaces. The route is nature-oriented and you will see all facets of Texel. We go through the dunes, along the beach and mudflats and over grasslands in the middle of wetlands. To make the route a little more intensive and in my opinion more interesting, the route regularly runs on sandy paths. However, the route is made in such a way that there is always the possibility to walk paved next to the paths.
A very beautiful and above all varied route through beautiful natural beauty.
Tip: After 7.4 km there is the possibility to have a snack on your left at IJsboerderij Labora.
Near Roggesloot you walk through nature reserve Dorpzicht. Then, when you have crossed the Postweg, continue to follow the yellow route Roggesloot and Dorpzicht, you then walk through the Krimbos on beautiful forest paths.
