From/to: start at parking lot* t.o. Ludenlaan 1, 3941 CN Doorn, municipality of Utrechtse Heuvelrug, The Netherlands. Free parking.

In every season a great ATB/mountain bike route on centuries-old unpavedroads (including Postweg) and ditto paved roads (Buntlaan and Gooyerwetering). You will also drive over former sheep drives (Broekweg and Stamerweg). You will pass through the hamlet of Palmstad and then in the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park^ past the Asparagus Field and the Zanderij Maarn. Detailed information about the history and geology of this area in particular is given under Sights. In short, a challenging tour for the real enthusiast on public and private roads.

^ Admission is free. The MTB vignette of the N.P. Utrechtse Heuvelrug is not required for this route.

* Restaurants and cafes are located 750 metres from the car park in the centre of Doorn.
