The green Koebos walk runs largely through the beautiful castle park of the Maurissens' castle, better known as the park of the UZ Pellenberg. The park was laid out in the second half of the 19th century and has typical characteristics of an English park: undulating and varied landscapes that want to give the impression of having come naturally. From the steep crest of the hill you have a beautiful view between the trees of the winding pond alongside the castle. Be surprised in this park by very thick chestnuts and monumental weeping beeches.
NOTE: This is a walk on a virtual walking network. The nodes are not signposted on the site.The walk is signposted in two directions with green rectangle.
