Diest, a relatively small town, has more to offer than expected. Our walking route between the Demer and the historic city center takes you past beautiful buildings with a long history.
We start at the station and walk along the Demer to the Beguinage. Then you pass the Provincial Domain Halve Maan, the St. John the Baptist Church, the Warandepark, the Residence of the Prince of Nassau, the All Saints Chapel, the Citadel, the Town Hall, the St. Sulpitius and St. Denis Church, the Cloth Hall, Park Cerkel, and breweries, the Our Lady Church to return to the station.
