The hikes in the area of Three Eigen lead you through a very diverse landscape shaped by the Maas and man. Get to know the surprising combination of nature and culture.
This red route takes you from Kessenich in Belgium through the nature reserve Vijverbroek to the white town of Thorn. From there, you continue via the Maasplas De Grote Hegge to the nature reserve de Koningssteen, where you walk exactly on the Dutch-Belgian border. From there, you return back to Kessenich.
The length of the red route is 8.2 km.
