Circular route Raeren, Stolberg, Kornelimünster, Raeren

We start in Raeren at the Lgebend car park on the Vennbahn route. We follow the Vennbahn route until shortly before Roetgen, where we turn left into Stocklägerweg via Rommelweg onto the L238, which we follow to the left for a while in the direction of Rott. Approx. 400 m behind the dam wall of the Dreilägerbachtalsperre, we turn sharply right into Jägerhausstraße and follow the banks of the Dreilägerbachtalsperre. We stay on the same path until we meet the L12 (Hahnerstr.). We follow the L12 left in the direction of Hahn for about 450 m and then turn right into Siemonsbranderweg into the deciduous forest at Hasselbachgraben. Here we turn half left and follow the forest path along the Hasselbach. At the end of the path we turn left to follow the Solchbach on the right at the next crossroads until we turn left into the Mulartshütter Schneise, at the end of which we cross the L238 to follow Vichtbachstr. After about 800 m we reach the Birkenhof and turn right into the forest path towards Stolberg. We follow this path to the L12 to turn diagonally opposite into the Fleuth. The Fleuth ends at the L238, which we follow to the left along the Vicht to Stolberg. Immediately before Kaufland, we turn half right into Zweifaller Str. and turn right into Burgstr. at the end of it. This is where the historic old town of Stolberg begins, which invites you to linger in many respects.
Back we drive the same route along the Vicht on the L238 and turn right into Binsfeldhammer. Via the Waldfriede turn right into the Rüst, past the gravel works, turn right under the railway tracks at the Rehhag follow the Rüstbach to Breinig, cycle left onto the K22 (Schützheide) into Stefanstraße and take a shortcut to the L12 behind the elementary school, turn left to turn right into Kastanienweg directly at the Rewe. We cross Stockemerstrasse and follow the dirt road until we follow the L12 to the right, turn right into Korneliusstr, and thus reach the historic center of Kornelimünster and can take another break.
Continue over the Napoleonsberg at the traffic lights turn left into Schleckheimerstrasse and 50 m further left up St. Gangolfsberg, to follow Nütheimer Str. to the village of the same name to the halfway right, cross the K1 to continue following Nütheimer Str. to Langfeld in the Raeren district of Lichtenbusch. We turn left into Raerener Str. and turn right into Marientalstr. in a left turn. We follow the valley with a view of the Raeren St. Nicholas Church until we turn left over Grachtstrasse and half left over Burgstrasse to Raeren Castle with its pottery museum and Haus Raeren. We continue along Bergstrasse to Walheimerstrasse where we turn right into Turmstrasse, at the end of which we follow Roetgenerstrasse to the left to the Vennbahnroute. We cycle right into the Vennbahn route past the Raeren train station and after about 600 m we reach the Langebend car park.
