During this walk, you come into contact with many different faces from Nieuwpoort.
A small note: After 3.1 km, on Louis Street, it is planned to enter the dunes. This is done through a green gate that provides access to the dunes. This gate is always closed but never locked. Please close the gate behind you. After that, follow the dune paths.
The route can possibly be slightly extended by taking the ferry across to the other side directly behind the jetty, in the harbor channel. There, the path can continue through the nature area and the mudflats to reconnect with the Albert I Monument to get back on the route. Also highly recommended. Please note that the ferry sometimes does not run on weekdays outside of holiday periods.
