This 66 km route takes you through the region of 'De Witte', the literary masterpiece of Ernest Claes. Discover the author's birthplace, the church of Zichem and the basilica of Scherpenheuvel, which play an important role in this film classic. Never seen De Witte? Then be sure to stop at the Zichem market. You will find the monument of Claes, who carries his sympathetic villain on his shoulders. A beautiful and interesting trip, which takes you back to your starting point along the border region between Flemish Brabant and Limburg.
