AzureWith the GR 5A "Wandelronde Vlaanderen" exploring through dunes and forest and getting a breath of fresh air along the beach of Oostduinkerke, a top nature walk!
You walk through the eastern corner of De Doornpanne where you seamlessly connect with the dunes of the Witte Burg. Past the Sint-Niklaaskerk of Oostduinkerke you banter up and down through the Plaatsduinen and then join the Flemish Nature Reserve Ter Yde, which in addition to the Ter-Ydeduinen complex, contains the Hannecartbos and the Zeebermduinen. A brisk walk on the beach will take you back to the start.
Departure: parking at visitor centre De Doornpanne (Doornpannestraat 2,
8670 Koksijde). The start is also accessible by coastal tram: get off at stop 'Oostduinkerke Schipgat'; The stop is 300m from the visitor centre
