The Duinbos hiking route (10.3 km) starts at the famous tram station on Leopoldlaan in De Haan, the most authentically preserved coastal municipality. You walk through the Duinbos, an unspoiled nature reserve (152 ha) between Wenduine and Bredene. This route takes you via the Concessie – the typical romantic villa district from the early 20th century in De Haan – along the beach towards Wenduine to the Spioenkop, that famous 'mushroom-like' kiosk with a red roof in the dunes. To return to your starting point, you pass through the Domeinbos (the dunes) along quiet roads and typical villas.
