Of course, the greatest cyclist of all time deserves a cycling route in his own region as a tribute! The 37 km long journey, mostly on flat roads, starts at the house and bicycle factory of Eddy Merckx in Sint-Brixius-Rode, a village in Meise. The route takes you past the National Botanic Garden, and on the Fluxenberg, you can enjoy a surprising panorama with the Atomium and the Basilica of Koekelberg on the horizon in good weather.
