In the 18th century, a number of rogues settled here, including the Mosel gang, after which this route is named. During the hike, you will learn a lot about the history of the region and will have beautiful views of the landscape. Geology enthusiasts will also find it worthwhile: the Elfengrotte (also known as "Käsehöhle" by locals), whose appearance was shaped by the last Ice Age and the properties of basalt lava.
