Circular trail around Lieberose – Damme Tour

This tour is one of the “8 most beautiful tours in Lieberose”. It starts at a historic building: it is actually the former clubhouse of the local shooting club, but the Lindenhof has also been used for entertaining evening events.
With its varying conditions, the path leads through the district of Behlow to the Damme pond landscape – a protected FFH area. Some ponds are still used for fish farming. In the silence of nature you can observe cormorants feeding on the abundance of fish. Numerous bird species are to be found in this beautiful scenic area. Through the forest and over fields, the path leads through the town of Lieberose, which is over 700 years old, before returning to the starting point. Past the church ruin – the German church and the Landkirche, the former Wendish church. Many buildings have signs with information on their significance.
