Widukindstadt Enger, Spenge and the Hücker Moor (day trip HF6)

This rural circular route through the gently rolling cultural landscape between Enger and Spenge offers culture and relaxation in a quiet environment. The Widukindstadt Enger is the starting and ending point of this circular route. Here, the Widukind Museum, the tannery museum, and the narrow-gauge railway museum are waiting for your visit. The highlight of the tour is the Hücker Moor, which invites you to linger in the beer garden or row on the Hücker Moor lake. The route leads through numerous village settlements and past historical farms, such as the Sattelmeierhof Meyer zu Hücker. There are no steep inclines to overcome, but due to the length, a certain basic level of fitness should be available for this circular route.
The tour largely runs along asphalted farm roads with no significant car traffic or independent cycle paths. Only a total of 2.5 km may expect higher traffic volume.
For cyclists from Bielefeld, Jöllenbeck is an alternative starting point. Parking is available here at the cemetery (Schwagerstraße).
