Starting form Famara this walk takes you up to the north through the narrow, steep and lushly vegetated valley of the Barranco de la Poceta to the top of the Famara cliff. From there it turns south and follows the edge of the cliff providing great views down the slopes of the Famara cliff and on the west coast of Lanzarote. From the Ermita de las Nieves the route first follows the ridge and then goes down towards Teguise. From Teguise the route follows a ridge further to the west and parrallel to the one leading into Teguise. Thus it provides great views on Caleta de Famara and the plains of the Parque del Archipielago Chinjio. Next, it takes a narrow path down from the ridge in order to get back to Famara.
