AzureWelcome to beautiful South Limburg and especially to the municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul. This route takes you through the beautiful area and north of Houthem. This region is also called Buitengoed Geul & Maas, a tourist collaboration of Valkenburg, Meerssen and Maastricht. Thanks to this collaboration, you can walk on beautifully renovated hiking trails. This area is well worth a visit. You will discover, among other things, the Kloosterbosch and the vineyard of St. Gerlach.
In Houthem there are plenty of catering establishments for a nice cup of coffee.
The route can be followed via the yellow posts. You can park at the station in Houthem or at Chateau St. Gerlach.
