Route 1 from Château St. Gerlach in Houthem - St. Gerlach

This is a relatively hilly cycling route.

At the corner of the through road and the access road of Château St.-Gerlach ("Joseph Corneli-Allée") is cycle junction 61. This is the starting and stopping point of this route.
Drive up the driveway and turn left before the barrier, then follow the green-and-white cycle junction signs as indicated above. (The first is junction 40).

Between junctions 57 and 88, on the left at a corner, is the "Herberg de Bernardushoeve", which is a nice place for a break. In the courtyard of this Limburg rectangular farmhouse or on the terrace with a lovely view, you can enjoy a drink or a snack. For more information, visit: https://bernardushoeve.nl

After the break, continue your way to junction 88 and follow the rest as indicated above.

TIP: Cyclists arriving by car can park for free in the parking lot to the right before the barrier on Joseph Corneli-Allée.
