Near Otterlo lies the National Park De Hoge Veluwe. In Otterlo, there is one of the entrances to this park. The Kröller-Müller Museum, named after Helene Kröller-Müller, has a remarkable collection of paintings, including those by Vincent van Gogh, as well as a renowned collection of sculptures in the sculpture garden of the Kröller-Müller Museum. The national park also features the Museonder. Additionally, there is the Dutch Tile Museum in Otterlo. The Red Cross Monument on Harskamperweg commemorates the mass evacuations following the failure of the Operation Market Garden in 1944.
Along the Planken Wambuisweg towards Ede, there is the Valenberg Observation Point.
You can park at the church in Otterlo, and there is a nice restaurant nearby where you can eat and drink well in the summer, with a lovely terrace.
