Madeira

A series of interesting walks in the island of Madeira. This is not the case for the walk named 'Levada do Curral: do not do it !!!' in this group which is overly dangerous and should therefore not be tried !!!

Mind you: the elevation information on these walks, like on most other walks in Madeira, is not trustworthy. This is mostly due to the very dramatic relief of Madeira and the low quality of the elevation data available. In most cases the elevation information automatically provided with the walks in RouteYou is an exaggeration of reality.
