Van Hee & Partners Cycling Team - Winter ride ODD weeks 2023-'24 - 66 km

Aalst - Moortsele - Aalst

Starting point : Sint-Annakring Aalst, 9h00 !

Sundays 15/10, 29/10, 12/11, 26/11, 10/12, 24/12, 7/1, 21/1, 4/2 & 18/2

From 8 October '23 to 25 February '24 we cycle 1 of our 2 fixed winter rides on Sunday morning at 9 am, 66 to 68 km at B-pace (= ±26 to 27 km/h). Not too many altimeters and no steep slopes (the odd-week ride has slightly more altimeters than the even-week ride), but still enough undulating to find enough challenge even on beautiful winter Sundays.

Be sure to put both rides on your GPS because we do not promise that there will be road captains present every week.

Not a club member yet ? ... but if you want to get a taste of cycling in a group with VHPCT, feel free to join the Sint-Annakring on Sunday morning.

... and as always :

- Safety above all, traffic rules are respected !
- Out together, home together ! The pace takes everyone into account !
- We warn each other of obstacles in good time.
- Signals and guidelines are transmitted from front to back.
- In built-up areas, we adjust our speed.
- The guidelines of the road captains are followed by everyone !
- After each slope, everyone is waited for the group to be full again.
- We respect and remain polite to other road users.
- We do not leave waste on public roads !
- After the ride we have a nice drink together in the Sint-Annakring !

... and of course we wear our VHPCT equipment !

S E I Z O E N  2 0 2 4 :
From 3 March 2024 until the end of September 2024, an A & B ride departs every Sunday morning at 9:00 am from our clubroom the Sint-Annakring at Roklijf 4, accompanied by road captains. By 12:00 we are always back on site and we have a drink together in - or on the terrace of - the Sint-Annakring. Fun on and off the bike will therefore remain our motto in 2024!
