VIEWMASTERS 2021 HIKING 9,7KM

The success of ViewMasters2018 continues to reverberate. Street art colours the city, gives meaning, shapes the public space and inspires a lively discussion during a city walk. Various leisure services and KASK are joining forces again for this 2nd edition. This time, the interventions will be implanted in the municipality of Sint-Gillis, where they will be concentrated in the core area between Serbos and Kroondveldlaan. In this way they form the connection between the already iconic street art work of David Walker (Boonwijk) and that of Christoph Malfliet (Kroonveldlaan).
In addition to 40 interventions on electricity boxes, there will be 5 murals and a hype court (= work of art, painted on a basketball court) in the William Bruyninckxpark at the station. Such hypecourts are rare in Belgium ... The realization of this hype court is planned for the autumn of 2021.
The artworks can be viewed from 14 July.
In the run-up to that, you can see the artists at work. 20 utility cabinets will be decorated by local talent who participated in a street art workshop.
