Description

The starting point of the hike is the city information at the Schausiedehaus in the middle of the spa park area. Here you can learn about the history of the saltworks and the historical salt production. Now turn right onto the path along the old salt ship and imagine the dimensions of the old graduation works size. Past playground equipment and a quiet avenue, you will reach the Kusswäldchen. In this forest area with various paths, the butterfly pond with its fountain, and fitness areas, you will find peace and a meadow for a cozy picnic. At the end of the forest, you reach the outskirts of Schönebeck and have a clear view of the adjacent fields. Turning right, you will reach the chestnut avenue, which leads to Bierer Berg after a slight incline. On Bierer Berg, you will find the Heimattiergarten, a popular playground, gastronomy, and the Bismark Tower, from which you can view the vast and flat landscape. Dont miss a visit to the open-air stage for the Schönebecker Operettensommer! Now head back on the circular path to the Kusswäldchen, which you now reach from the other side. Along the already familiar path on the salt ship to the graduation work. Breathe in the salty air on your way through the spa park, walk to the Gesundheitsbad Solequell and visit tennis courts, a cafe, and drinking fountains.
