On over 20 information boards, the interested hiker learns a lot about the local history. For example, where the names of the fields come from or where the residents of Silix fetched their drinking water. The trail also leads past trenches from World War II and centuries-old boundary stones. So, there is much to discover. Magnificent views complement the route. A detour (300 m) to the family spot is highly recommended, offering very special views into the Kalletal valley.
The starting point is at the farmhouse in the village center at the intersection. From there, the poacher's route leads via Nüllerholzstraße and Bülter Weg through the village up to Silixer Hagen and along the ridge path into Möllenbecker Forest, and finally through fields and meadows back to the starting point. Rest areas are available at Potsdamer Platz or at the hiking shelter at the tripoint.
