This lasso path is marked with the symbol H1. The ideal starting point is southeast of the Mühlencenter in Herdecke an der Ruhr. 200 meters away is the bus stop Hengsteyseestraße, where all Herdecker bus lines converge, and Herdecke train station is also just one kilometer away. The access road to the actual circular path leads on flat terrain along the Ruhr towards Harkortsee. After about 800 meters, you will reach the landmark of Herdecke, the Ruhr Viaduct. Here, turn right and reach the fairly steep "Bausenweg" via a narrow footpath and about 500 meters of road, which will lead you on a 2-kilometer stretch to the forest area at the "Nacken" below the "Oberen Dellenwegs." From here, you can also return to the starting point along the same route.
