The Six Lakes Plateau is one of the most famous recreational areas in the western Ruhr area. With 150 hectares of water surface and numerous cycling and hiking trails, it offers plenty of activities. We recommend starting at the parking lot of the Wolfssee beach. From there, you can walk along the first lakes to the observation tower and take a large loop through the forest in the south back to the lake plateau.
