L’abbaye de Voormezele est une ancienne abbaye située dans la commune d’Ypres, en Flandre occidentale.
L’abbaye a été fondée en 1068 par le seigneur Isaac van Voormezele. C’était un prévôt : un collège de chanoines séculiers. En 1100, elle fut transformée en abbaye augustinienne par Jan I van Waasten, évêque de Terwaan. En 1119, le comte Charles le Bon fait don à l’abbaye d’un vaste territoire, le Sadalt. Les moines se réapproprièrent cette zone et fondèrent une chapelle dédiée à Saint Eloi, où se trouve aujourd’hui la ville de Saint Eloi.
