Die Wupper ist ein Fluss in Nordrhein-Westfalen , der als Wipper bei der Marienheider Ortschaft Börlinghausen an der Grenze zu Meinerzhagen im Oberbergischen Kreis entspringt und in der Stadt Leverkusen zwischen den Stadtteilen Wiesdorf und Rheindorf nach 116,5 Kilometern Flussstrecke und gut 400 Höhenmetern in den Rhein mündet. Dort beträgt der mittlere Abfluss gut 17 m³/s. Die Wupper ist der längste Fluss der Region Bergisches Land.
