The current castle Ter Borght, the 'Nieuw Hof' is essentially a classicist country house, dating from 1780, which has acquired a neoclassical view in the course of the 19th century and has been expanded with additional and service buildings, including a monumental orangery in iron and glass from 1863. The castle is located in a landscape style park, which was created before 1837 in three phases and extends into the meadows on the southern flank of the valley of the Grote Nete.
