Gravel paths are rarely traveled by non-residents. Nonetheless, it is sometimes worthwhile to explore them more closely. This hike invites you to do so, but has been consciously limited to roads near the village of Erwetegem. It starts at the dead end directly by the railway and part of the main road Eekhout (1), followed by: Bosveldstraat (2), Notenbroek (3), Vastelenberg (4), Neerwede (5), Haagkouter (6), Part 1 of Nelekouter (7), Vlaanderenstraat (8), Bronstraat (9), Kronegem (10), and finally Part 2 of Nelekouter (11). Although they are dead ends, in several cases, there is still a passage between 2 roads possible, as they are connected by a path reserved for pedestrians (and possibly cyclists) ...
