On September 28, we will stylishly close our cycling season with our last ride of the '26 season. As it should be, we will make it a cozy finale with a well-deserved stop along the way.

And not just any stop… 🚴‍♂️🍻

We will stop at Café De Molendam – a place that has gained a legendary status for some of us. You surely remember our “ride on location” from April 26, when we just before the café ended up with a flat tire from Rudi. While some were dealing with the technical repairs, suddenly the landlady appeared…

With a volume that would leave many a peloton silent, and a persuasive power that no counterargument could withstand, she tried to direct us towards her terrace. Her message was clear, loud, and… particularly persistent: we had to and would get something to drink while the tire was being replaced.

To everyone's surprise (and maybe a bit to hers as well), we bravely resisted and did not give in. But to be fair: such determination leaves an impression.

That is why we have decided to – out of respect for her unmatched persuasive power – still make a stop at her café during our last ride of the season. After all, we can hardly disappoint her again 😉.

In short, mark September 28 in your calendar, make sure your tires are well inflated (Rudi, we are looking at you 😄), and come enjoy a sporty and cozy season finale. Everyone is welcome, as we will leave together and ride the entire route at B-pace. Together out, together home, so don't miss this unique opportunity to close the season in a pleasant way!
