The varied tour first takes the hiker to the Predigtstuhl, a steep rock edge above the Semois, and to the ruins of Château de Montragut. The remnants are sparse, but the view from the rocks is impressive. Along a rocky ridge, one reaches more beautiful viewpoints and finally comes to the quaint Frahan, located at the end of a peninsula in a river bend of the Semois. On the other side of the river, it’s a leisurely walk to the old tobacco village of Poupehan. Once again, the Semois is crossed, and a final ascent leads back to Corbion, which is famous for its former tobacco cultivation and processing, and offers some dining options along with the tobacco museum, forming the crowning conclusion of the tour.
