Limburg - Hesbaye

Hesbaye is a generous region whose riches grow from trees. The harvests of apples, pears and other fruits are so abundant that farmers have been producing the delicious syrup of Hesbaye with the surplus for generations. But Hesbaye is also a cycling region. Its charming paths wind between meadows, fields and hilly orchards and sometimes require a little climbing. Fortunately, there are enough opportunities to relax on a terrace and enjoy Limburg hospitality.

Route: 39 km / shortened: 22 km / winding road / Looz – Gors-Opleeuw – Kortessem – Alken – Ulbeek – Herten – Looz.

Starting point: the Stoomstroopfabriek, between nodes 152 and 136.

Parking: free parking at the starting point (Place de la Gare).
