Green walking route with adventure path 2.6 km - Schulensmeer

Families with children prefer the green walk (2.6 km) that starts at the Schulensmeer visitor center. This walk runs along the easily accessible shores of the lake. With the adventure path through the little forest, play hill, and new boardwalk, this path is attractive for children. The entire path is wheelchair accessible (boardwalk 1.60 m wide). This route is accessible for strollers and wheelchair users (with assistance).

The children's adventure path is a challenging hiking path for children up to 12 years old and is part of the green walking path (2.5 km) that starts and ends at the visitor center. You follow the green signposts from the totem pole with lapwing near the visitor center. Close to the fishing harbor, the large wooden gateway welcomes you to the adventure path. Little (and big) adventurers can go exploring here. Hidden in the greenery, you will find climbing poles, a climbing tree, and a wildman’s hut. Be sure to climb the play hill with a moat. Up high in the crow's nest, you have the best view. Further along the green walk, you will pass an adventure bridge and a brand new boardwalk with a unique view over the entire lake. Can you spot the beaver? Just a bit further, you suddenly come face to face with the vast nature reserve Schulensbroek.
