Tour Elentrik Kortenberg
Electricity cabinets are necessary in public spaces, but they often stand out unpleasantly. Thanks to Tour Elentrik, 20 of these cabinets have been transformed into a canvas for local and professional talent.
Young people from Kortenberg were challenged and coached to give different cabinets a new and fresh layer within the themes of ‘mobility and nature’.
Their creations, along with the make-overs by professional artists, form ‘Tour Elentrik’.
The tour of the painted cabinets runs through the different municipalities and will be available for viewing, depending on the corona measures during the preparatory phase, at the earliest starting Sunday, June 27.

Cabinets (in order of this made route):
1. Train station Erps-Kwerps parking entrance
2. Intersection Schoonaerdestraat / Leuvensesteenweg (opposite frituur Den Boulvard)
3. Intersection Schoonaardestraat / Dorpsstraat
4. This cabinet is incorrectly placed on Google Maps. It is actually located at the beginning of Sint-Antoniusstraat (side street of Dorpsstraat)
5. The cabinet is located roughly in the middle of Kwikstraat at the entrance of a football field
6. Roundabout of Everberg (roundabout Annonciadenstraat/Ziptstraat) diagonally opposite pharmacist Spruyt
7. Bend of Molenstraat and the intersection with the shopping street
8. Kruisstraat, about 50 meters after the Broodmolen (towards Kortenberg)
9. Intersection of Sterrebeeksesteenweg with Hazewinkel street.
Then take 50m further on Sterrebeeksesteenweg, through the water basin.
10. Bend of Vierhuizenstraat and Gemeentebroek.
11. Intersection of Bosstraat and Sint Catherinastraat
12. Intersection Brouwerijstraat and Kiewitstraat
13. Kortenberg Station (beginning of the bike path under the station)
14. Drive down Frans Mombaersstraat to where the road splits left and right. Take the left side, not the right, and then immediately follow the curve to the right at the end.
15. Intersection of Everbergstraat and Engerstraat
16. Intersection of Oudebaan (Sports Hall Erps-Kwerps) and Peperstraat right next to a chapel and the entrance of John Deere
17. Intersection Vrededal and Kwerpsebaan at Schoenen Livini.
