For this walk, you'll follow the Rouge-Cloître stream, an important tributary of the Woluwe. The stream owes its name to the priory founded by monks in the Sonian forest over 600 years ago. With great patience, these monks once recovered and worked the wet soils of the valley. A beautifully built heritage still testifies to their presence. But the place is not only special from a historical point of view. The region is also so precious in terms of landscape and nature that it has been included in the European Natura 2000 network.
