An impressive high-altitude trail surrounded by the marvellous world of glaciers. In Saas-Fee take the cableway to Felskinn (2991m). From there, follow the alpine route over the Fee and Chessjen glaciers to the Britannia hut. From the Britannia hut (3030 m, SAC), hikers enjoy a magnificent view of the Mattmark lake and Mattmark area. Then descend across the Chessjen glacier to Heidefriedhof (2734m). From there follow the well-marked trail to the Plattjen station (2570 m), and with the cable car back to Saas-Fee.
