A small but lovely day trip

Description

The tour starts with passing through the lock in Alsleben. After the bridge of the A14 motorway, there is an opportunity for a rest on the left bank in Großwirschleben. It continues with a ride through the floodplain forest near Plötzkau. From Gröna, you reach the Bernburg campsite with the Schifferklause restaurant after approximately 2.5 kilometers. Not far away is the Saaleperle adventure pool in Neuborna. Of course, you can also continue to Bernburg and land directly in the center at MBSV Wasserwandern. From here, its a short walk to visit the impressive castle complex with the Eulenspiegelturm tower and museum.

km 0.5 RU - Shipyard Fischer, tent pitches, showers and toilets for canoeists

km 0.5 RU - access to the Alsleben lock

km 0.7 LU - registration/boat dock for locking

km 0.9 - Alsleben lock, (operation 1.4.-31.10 Mon-Thu 7am-7pm, Fri-Sun 7am-9pm / 1.11.-31.3. Mon-Sat 7am-5pm, Sun 8am-4pm)

km 1.1 RU - registration/boat dock for locking

km 4.9 LU - rest area Großwirschleben

km 9.8 RU - dock below the Gröna bridge, rest area, Cafe-Ship Kleine Eiszeit,

km 12.9 RU - Watersports Club Empor Bernburg

km 13.1 RU - Campsite &: Restaurant Schifferklause (tent pitches, showers and toilets)

km 14.1 RU - Maritime Club

km 14.2 RU - MBSV Wasserwandern Bernburg, tent pitches, overnight stay in the club house
