Etappe Gundelsheim - Bad Wimpfen | Radweg Burgenstraße

Between Gundelsheim and Bad Wimpfen, the Burgenstraße cycle route loops through the hills of Kraichgau before returning to the Neckar.

In Gundelsheim, on the edge of the Odenwald, lies Horneck Castle, once the seat of the Teutonic Knights. The magnificent complex is now home to the Transylvanian Museum. In the distance, on the other side of the Neckar, you can see Guttenberg Castle, an undestroyed Staufer castle. The gryphon observatory there provides a close-to-nature insight into the world of birds. The historic town center of Gundelsheim is also worth a visit.
